What does it say about us that we’re willing to stand in front of a painting for hours, waiting to hear what it has to tell us?

Walking through Rome, I loved exploring every corner, feeling the history, the culture, and the wild creativity of the human race. But instead of just staring at the walls and what was hung on it, I kept looking up. And every single time, the ceilings found a new way to captivate me.
