In Bologna, Italy! I visited the Mercato Sonato, which has a pretty interesting backstory. Once a market, it's now the home of the city's orchestra, Senzaspine.

You see, the orchestra didn't have it's own place, so the city decided to give them the market as a rehearsal space. They kept the name 'Mercato,' which means market, and now the place is known as 'Mercato Sonato.' I gotta say, the Orchestra Senzaspine is simply amazing!

I even had the pleasure of meeting Tommaso Ussardi, the incredibly sweet maestro. Everyone in the Orchestra Senzaspine was such a delight to speak to and heavenly to listen them play! The whole place has such a cool, artsy vibe, even the washroom! It's like a creative explosion of graffiti and stickers – talk about making a statement!
